Overview

Absolute Adventure’s team of qualified assessors are on hand to manage both the practice and qualifying adventurous journey requirements of the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Using our extensive knowledge of mountainous and desert regions, we have designed expedition areas to challenge all abilities.

Our UAE and Omani trade licenses allow us to operate expeditions in some of the most beautiful and remote locations in the region. Local expeditions can take place on foot (hiking), kayak, mountain bike or camelback (additional training required). Gold expeditions are offered in UAE, Oman, Nepal, Bulgaria and Finland.

All of our routes are fully risk assessed and give groups the opportunity to practice real navigation skills using clearly marked, customised route maps. Our staff are trained in remote supervision techniques to ensure that expeditions are in line with the ethos of the award.

About Absolute Adventure

We believe that Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) fosters personal growth, inter-personal skills and incorporates curriculum goals to create a lasting memory and experience which can be transferred into academic life. Using our many centers, strategically based around the UAE and Oman, we have a full complement of adventure, environmental and cultural activities to choose from. With our variety of locations and activities Absolute Adventure creates customized and progressive experiential education programs for students of all ages. Quality is assured as we are the country’s only ISO 21101 (adventure tourism – safety management systems) and ISO 31000 (risk management) compliant operator. We also hold BS 8488 for overseas expeditions and have been rated a 5* operator under the new Fujairah Adventure Provider Licensing Scheme. All our fulltime staff all hold a minimum of Level 3 Outdoor First Aid and Level 3 Safeguarding certification as well as a number of recognized activity instructing qualifications. We offer discounts for schools bringing us multiple year groups and those that pay their deposits early. Contact us to learn more
