day to day
day 01 - 02
Arrive into Lilongwe International Airport, where a member of the Camps team will meet you before you transfer to Kuti Wildlife Reserve. The reserve is a haven to a huge variety of free-roaming wildlife, with mammals such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, sable, kudu and impala through to primates, reptiles and hundreds of bird species. There are no large predators or dangerous game on the reserve so you can explore and take in your surroundings at your own pace, without the need for a vehicle or scout. During your stay you will take part in the construction and maintenance projects at the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre’s primary release site.
day 03 - 06
Today you will transfer to Lake Malawi to stay at the Cape Maclear campsite, who are committed to promoting sustainable developments for the well-being of their community. All projects are designed to benefit both the environment and local community and could include production of educational materials, organic gardening, orphan feeding and education programmes.
