Overview

The Kalba Mountain Camp is our newest center and offers students a number of learning and adventure opportunities. Whether younger students are away from home for the first time or older students are seeking a challenge on our extensive high ropes course, the Mountain Camp can accommodate it. Less than 10 minutes away we have the Kalba Mangrove center for water sports and to study the unique mangrove environment.

Activities require little to no transfer time; trekking, mountain biking, survival, archery, orienteering, low ropes/team building and high ropes all start from camp; the Mangrove Center offers stand up paddle boarding, raft building and kayaking next to the oldest mangrove forest in the region.

In addition to adventure activities, the small town of Kalba also offers a range of cultural experiences where students can learn about UAE heritage and wildlife. Students can experience a fantastic live show at the Kalba Birds of Prey Center, see Arabian Leopards and other indigenous wildlife at the Al Hefaiyah Mountain Conservation centre and visit the Sheikh’s House (museum) to learn about UAE heritage.

All our fulltime staff all hold a minimum of Level 3 Outdoor First Aid and Level 3 Safeguarding certification as well as a number of recognized activity instructing qualifications.
