Overview

Many of our students over 12 years old go on to develop their skills with the Advanced Open Water Diver Course which is designed to build confidence and offer new experiences, activities and specialities.

The Advanced Course consists of five adventure dives:

Deep diver where divers between the ages of 12 and 15 can dive to a maximum depth of 21 metres. Older students above 15 years old dive to 30 metres.
Underwater navigation which teaches students how to use a compass to navigate underwater which is an essential skill for all divers wishing to dive without professional supervision.
After completing the deep dive and underwater navigation, students choose an additional three adventure dives.
